#BordeandoRD: Day 6. The northeast of the island.

This is one of those days that promise to be a good one! How many things to do and how many cool places to enjoy!

We started with El Saltadero in Cabrera. Since the moment the locals see you arrive, they climb to the highest part of the waterfall, and it is so high, that the least we think is that they would jump from there. But if we think about the name of the place, it was obvious that they would. It is a spectacle. Even one of the young people who jump from up high, was barely 12 years old. The water has a very interesting turquoise blue tone. It was very fun going under the waterfall and finding a small cave.

Then we continue our way to Samaná, directly to see Dominican Tree House Village and the Lulu Waterfall. A very interesting ecotourism complex, which offers visitors total contact with nature. We took the opportunity to take some cool photos at the waterfall and to walk along the suspension bridge. Everything an interesting experience!

Now we wanted to go to a place that many people have mentioned a lot: Playa El Valle. Supposedly the beach have strong waves and that the children might not be able to swim, but for our fortune, the sea was quite calm, perhaps because it had rained a while before. We found a small spring, in a small cave. According to the children, "the food prepared for us there is delicious, but you have to eat it quickly, because one of the dogs can come and eat it”. There are many dogs around. Another thing that we discovered was that we could not do snorkeling, because there is almost no visibility. Maybe due to the color of the sand that is a bit dark or maybe because of the rain in previous days.

After eating at Playa El Valle, we went to walk along the bridges of the keys, right in the bay of the town of Samaná. We just fell in love with the beautiful sunset. The colors of the late afternoon are very intense. From the bridges you can see the whole town and its boats.

We end up the night with a dinner at a restaurant in the town, very close to the hotel where we stayed, which is worth highlighting, the best lodging of the entire tour of # BordeandoRD. Everything impeccable, new, clean, and with a very high level of service. Excellent location, parking available.
